Watch from anywhere

Open your server in a browser or the Jellyfin apps, and share it with family.

Your server's address looks like https://cozy-premiere.watch.coursier.io. Find it on your server's card in your account (Copy address) or on the plugin's page in Jellyfin.

In a browser

Open the address in any browser. You land on Jellyfin's sign-in page. The address has a real HTTPS certificate, so there are no security warnings.

In the Jellyfin apps

Every official Jellyfin app works: Android, iOS, Android TV and Fire TV, Roku, webOS, Tizen, Kodi (with the Jellyfin add-on), desktop and others. Get them from jellyfin.org/downloads.

  1. Open the app and choose Add server (or Connect).
  2. Enter the full address, including https://, for example https://cozy-premiere.watch.coursier.io.
  3. Sign in with your Jellyfin username and password.

The app's automatic "local server" search does not find Coursier addresses: always type the address.

At home

At home you can keep using Jellyfin's local address, which is faster and uses none of your monthly data. Most apps let you save both: the local address for home, your Coursier address everywhere else.

Share with family and friends

  1. In Jellyfin, create a separate user for each person (Dashboard → Users), with access only to the libraries they need.
  2. Send them the address and their username. Let them set their own password.

Sharing with people you know is what Coursier is for. Publishing the address publicly, or selling access, is not allowed by the acceptable use policy.

Each person streaming uses your plan's data and bandwidth. See Plans, data and bandwidth.
